ALR Chapter 543 visits our Can Shake partners

On Sunday 03APR16 members of ALR 543 braved the wind and cold to visit two local businesses that partnered with us for our Veterans Day Can Shake which allowed us to raise in excess of $3000 to help York County Veterans.  Donations came in all shapes and sizes, but the ones that meant the most were the little kids coming up us after collecting all the loose change out of Mom and Dad's car.  Patriotism is a family value.  God Bless our Troops and Veterans.

ALR Chaplain Donald Bradley recognized as ALR PA Region 7 Rider of the Year

At our February meeting President George Boswell presents Donald Bradley with the American Legion Riders PA Region 7 Rider of the Year Award.

Donald, 75, does more in a day than any three 30 year olds put together.  Besides currently serving as our Chaplain, Donald is also a proud member of the York County Veterans Honor Guard, and in that capacity participated in over 400 funerals in 2015 alone.  Donald is a daily inspiration to all of us.  Nobody deserves this award more than he does.  Congratulations Brother.
